In her first pageant, at the advice by another fellow UGA students, Mohr won the Miss Columbus 1985 title. She was then eligible to enter into the Miss Georgia pageant in June 1985. Mohr was the winner of Saturday's competition, June 22 1985. Over $3500 was given Mohr's scholarship funds along with other awards. As Miss Georgia she was involved in events across Georgia. Georgia.
